About The Burgin Barn
The Barn was opened nine years ago by Mr. Tommy Hurst. Tommy built the long, low, white shed for a place to be able to play music. Mr. Hurst's 90 plus year old aunt collects the admission fee.
The inside decor consists of Christmas Lights strung through the rafters and iron skillets hanging on the walls.
Mr. Hurst, who is 75 both runs The Barn and also plays the bass in the house band, The Kentucky Strangers.
With its old-timey feel and focus on tradition, The Barn is an excellant place to relax after the work week, So come on in and join us!

About The Entertainers
Each week there is a featured entertainer who will entertain the crowd as he mimics legendary performers.
The Barn is part of a circuit of local "jamborees" around Kentucky in which they perform. Backed by the Kentucky Strangers, the entertainer is sure to please the crowd just as if he was performing at the Grand Ole Opry!

About The House Band
As mentioned above, Mr. Hurst is a member of the house band, The Kentucky Strangers.
The main music played by the house band is country and gospel.
